Students from Jalaram Academy took part in a meaningful event on the International Day of the Girl Child, which focused on promoting the rights and empowerment of girls on a global scale.
Students, women in leadership, and community leaders came together during the celebration to increase awareness about important issues affecting girls today, such as mental health, climate change, sexual reproductive health, and gender-based violence.
Although our students did not participate in the celebration, they were given the opportunity to be part of the panel questioning the duty bearers. Their voices reflected the concerns of their peers and underscored the importance of establishing a supportive environment for all girls and women.
